UMW (United Methodist Women)

St. Luke’s United Methodist Church has an extremely active group of women who provide many opportunities for women to participate in depending on their time and talents. Some events are social while others are fundraisers for the various local and global missions. There are many opportunities to provide comfort to our shut-ins, elderly, grieving families, and the ill. The UMW group serves the needs of many.


Fundraising Events:

  • Spring and Fall Rummage Sales

  • Thanksgiving Pie Sales



A fellowship group that meets on the third Thursday of most months at 7:00 p.m. for a potpourri of programs with fun and fellowship. Meetings held at various locations.


Terrific Tuesdays:

A women’s fellowship group that meets the first and third Tuesdays during the school year beginning at 9:30 a.m. at various coffee houses around town for conversation. During the summer, this group tries to get together every week.


Busy Bees:

Busy Bees meets the first Monday of most months at 1:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall, Devotions, dessert and tying of quilts for Hillcrest youth. Caring hearts and willing hands are invited.
